The 9-ball individuals turned into a Scandinavian festival. With My Nguyen (SWE; girls), Emil-Andre Gangflot (NOR; U17) and Christoffer Lentz (DEN; U19) three players from the Northern European countries went for the gold medals.
In the team competition, Team Germany won the U19, Team Poland won the U17 and Team Russia took the Gold Medal in the girls division.
The final match in the U19 9-ball competition was played between Christoffer Lentz and Mustafa Alnar (TNC). It was only thrilling in the first 4 racks when Alnar was able to show some active resistance. After a score of 2:2, it was only Lentz who demonstrated high class pool while Alnar lost his track completely. The final result in that match was 8:2 in favour of the Danish.

The final 9-ball match in the U17 took place between Emil-Andre Gangflot and Szymon Kural (POL). Kural had already taken the crown in 10-ball earlier this week and was ready for more. The match was really exciting and thrilling to the spectators and it went all the way to a hill-hill situation at 6:6. Then, Kural attempted to play a safety on the 7-ball but to his horror had no ball touch any rails after the contact so the shot was called a foul. With ball in hand, Gangflot had no problem to run the remaining 3 balls and go for then Gold in the U17 9-ball competition.
