Following a phenomenal season opener in Romania, the international Dynamic Billard Best of the East series is heading to Slovakia. On May 16–17, dozens of billiard players from across Europe will gather in Bratislava to compete for ranking points and attractive prizes.
The season inauguration in Oradea was dominated by the “White and Red.” To recap, the Romanian tournament concluded with a triumph for Jeremi Nowak (Strefa Diamond Gdańsk). Two other Poles also reached the medal zone: Mariusz Skoneczny (Fortis Bilard Kielce) and Sambor Stachowiak (GKS Katowice). The Polish monopoly was broken only by Romania’s Cristian Surdea, who finished the Oradea event with a silver medal.
Ahead of us is the second Dynamic Billard Best of the East tournament of the year, to be held in Bratislava. The winner of the previous event, Jeremi Nowak, will be present at the tables of the Lavos Club. The entry list also features Mariusz Skoneczny, Jaroslav Polach, David Žalman, Balazs Köles, Kristian Mrva, Petr Urban, Dominik Zając, and many other top-tier players.
Slovakia will provide the largest contingent with 26 representatives. The start list also includes 21 players from Poland, 14 from the Czech Republic, 4 from Austria, 3 from Belarus, 2 from Hungary, and one player each from Romania, Macedonia, and Ukraine.
Players will compete on 10 professional 9-foot Dynamic tables, equipped with Iwan Simonis 860 cloth and Aramith Duramith Tournament Pro TV balls. The participants will face off in 9-ball. The first stage consists of a group phase, from which the top two players per group advance, followed by a single-elimination knockout stage.
The winner will leave Bratislava €1,300 richer, along with a trophy and a professional Cuetec cue. In total, financial prizes are designated for the top 16 players of the tournament. Most importantly, the matches will be streamed LIVE for free on the TVsports.pl channel! We encourage you to share this information and follow the performance of these exceptional athletes.
As a reminder, the competition takes place on May 16–17. This is the second tournament of the cycle, with future events scheduled to take place in Georgia and Poland.
The series is organized by the East European Billiard Council and Mak Marketing.
