World Billiard Championships Series Officially Opens in Indonesia

The World Billiard Championships Series officially launched today in Bali, Indonesia, marking a historic moment for the global billiards community. The opening ceremony welcomed distinguished guests and key figures from the international billiards scene, as the players take center stage here in Indonesia, for a full week of world championship competition.

The ceremony was marked by the inspirational words of Predator Group CEO, Karim Belhaj; Director of Issaak Billiards, Santoso Tjendrawasi; and PBC Director, Kevin Sanjaya; whose vision for the sport consistently drives innovation and growth on an international scale. Notable remarks from VenBilliards’ Public Relations Manager, Luis Gabriel Arias Garcia, highlighted the importance of uplifting women within the billiard community and the ceaseless drive for equality and inclusion at the professional level. While President of the Indonesian Billiard Sports Association, Mr. Hary Tanoesoedibjo, welcomed players and promoters alike with a few short words on the strong collaboration between international partners.

Other noteworthy speakers include Eric Ding, President of Malin Sports Group, Ltd., representing Yalin and Jorgen Sandman, Sports Director of the World Pool-Billiard Association (WPA), whose continued partnership with the Pro Billiard Series is an integral factor in the expansion and global presence of the sport.

    October 7–9, 2025

  • 2025 Predator WPA Women’s World Championship presented by Venbilliards
    October 8–12, 2025

  • 2025 Yalin WPA Men’s 8-Ball World Championship
    October 9–13, 2025

Each championship is sanctioned by the World Pool-Billiard Association and supported by the collaborative efforts of the Predator Group, PBC, Yalin, VenBilliard, Malin Sports Group, and the Indonesian Billiard Sports Association.
