The year-round Dynamic Billard Best of the East series, held since 1998, is starting. On February 15-16, over 100 participants will compete in the Romania 9-ball tournament in Oradea.
The first tournament attracted a record number of participants. Many athletes from Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Serbia, Mongolia, Ukraine, Albania and, of course, Romania have signed up for the competition. The game is not only about the cash prize, but also material prizes. The winner will receive, among other things, a Cuetec Cynergy Carbon Rubin-Red pool cue worth 750 euros.
Hubert Łopotko, who won last year’s series, will play in Romania. – It definitely wasn’t easy to win. The triumph in the entire ranking was to be decided by the last tournament in Pardubice and it was clear that it would be between me and Mariusz Skoneczny. I advanced further and thus won the entire Dynamic Billard Best of the East series for the first time in my life – says the player.
Of course, the Pole’s ambition is to repeat the success of 2024. – I train a lot and I am already prepared for the first tournament of this cycle. I am aware that it is difficult to win the ranking, but it is even harder to repeat it. I know that the competition trains hard, but I will try to defend this title – adds Łopotko.

The matches will be played in the Black&White Club and Shot Arcade Club. – After last year, I have very fond memories of the competition in Romania. I achieved my greatest success here, which was the second place in the Mezz Bucharest Open. In Oradea, there are good conditions for playing and a great atmosphere. I am glad to be back here – summed up the Polish billiards player.
The broadcast from the TV table will be available on the website www.tvsports.pl. The team www.cksport.pl will be responsible for media coverage. The start is on Saturday after 9:00. The final will take place on Sunday, February 16.
