WITH THE PREDATOR European Pool Championships now concluded, the numbers are in! Following 11 packed days of joy and pain, heartache and triumph, the event proved to be a resounding success across all platforms. That is a testament to the skills and determination of just under 200 athletes from 32 different countries who came to Tallinn to compete for the 60 medals awarded across 15 tournaments in four disciplines.

With the event’s social media now under the ‘Predator Pro Billiard Series’ banner, and streaming through Predator’s Pro Billiard TV on YouTube, the numbers far surpassed any previous EPBF tournaments. These included 1.2m views on YouTube, 2.1m on Instagram and a whopping 5.8m views on Facebook.

Given Predator’s huge commitment to the women’s game, it was fitting that the most viewed videos on both Facebook and Instagram featured multiple-medallist Pia Filler; European great, Jasmin Ouschan and Alara Ghaffari, who captured hearts with her 10-ball triumph.

Commented Karim Belhaj, the CEO The Predator Group, who was in attendance in Estonia, “The success of our first European Championship in Tallinn is a major milestone. Hosting it in a city that already embraces our vision through the Predator Academy made it even more meaningful. This event sets a new standard for what’s possible when we work hand in hand with the IBPF and the European Federations to grow the sport together.”

The President of the IBPF,  commented, “It’s our first European Championships with Predator and we’re absolutely delighted with how it all went. From the amazing arena, to the streaming as well as social media, everything worked perfectly. I know the players really felt the difference as we move into a new era with Predator and EPBF events. This is a partnership that grants us the opportunity to take our events to the next level and above.”

Starting tomorrow (Thursday) is the ARC Estonian Open, both open and women’s division, on the Predator Euro Tour series. Both Predator Pro Billiard Series social media and YouTube’s Pro Billiard TV will be resuming full service over the three days of competition.
