The next edition of the Predator Women’s Euro-Tour series, the Predator Women Veldhoven Open, is all set and ready to go.
Today, the 59 players enlisted will arrive. They are coming from 18 countries and will begin their event tomorrow morning. The current ranking displays a very unique situation where actually two players have the same amount of points with exactly the same results over the last year. Both, Jasmin Ouschan (AUT) and Kristina Tkach (RUS) are on 2400 points. They have both won three events, became 3rd and 9th in one and missed one. Therefore, this event might decide who of them will be the only reigning leader of the rankings. Only if both of them drop out in the same round, the leading position might still be shared between them. #3 ranked player is Marharyta Fefilava (BLR) with 2180 points. In order for her to become a serious danger for the two leaders, Ouschan as well as Tkach would have to lose in an early round which is possible but not very likely to happen. It is very probable that this event will see a showdown between Ouschan and Tkach.
The Predator Veldhoven Open 2019 will start tomorrow at 09:00 CET with first round matches.
Every day, up to two matches will be streamed LIVE over the EPBF Facebook page. Check for updates and announcements.
