2017 歐巡賽喜迎新夥伴 首站特雷維索上演
As the launch of the 2017 season is upon us with the first Eurotour stop starting in Treviso Italy, the IBPF are pleased to announce that Dynamic Billard will again be the exclusive table supplier for all EPBF events. „A long-time partner of the EPBF, Dynamic Billard have shown that their reliability and service to the pool sport is second to none and we really look forward to more years with great equipment“, IBPF president David Morris said.
The Eurotour, now entering its 26th year has also attracted new sponsorship, after a lot of work and efforts, we continue to make the tour stronger and we have now secured two of the most known companies in billiards, Predator and Biljardexperten who come on board and will partner the EPBF over the coming season. „Predator is a terrific brand to have with us“, said David Morris, „it’s always great to team up with the best and I look forward to a great partnership with them.“ „The same can be said about Biljardexperten, another massive supplier who caters for billiards and the leisure industry all over the world, it’s a brand that we have been chasing for a while now and we are very happy to have them with us“, Morris continued.
On to Italy and for the first Eurotour stop this year, 187 players from more than 30 countries from all over the World have announced for this prestigious event. US player Shane van Boening is among the participants, just like Mohammed Al-Khashawi from Kuwait or Nguyen Phuc Long from Vietnam. Of course, they will be joined by more intercontinental players as well as the European elite who will gather in Best Western Premium BHR Hotel in Treviso, Northern Italy, about 30km north of lovely Venice.
The contestants will go to battle for the 36.000,-€ in prize money with 4.500,-€ going to the winner alone. Also, important ranking points will be at stake for the players. The Dynamic Billard Italian Open will feature its first matches on Thursday morning at 09:00 CET with the final scheduled for Saturday, February 25th, 17:30 local time.
The Open event will be followed by the EPBF Italian Women’s Open. This event will start on February 25th with the finals played on February 26th. So far, 38 of Europe’s top female pool stars have confirmed their participation into the event that holds another 2.900,-€ in prize money.
Every day, one match from the event will be shown LIVE on the Facebook page of the EPBF. 2017賽季歐洲巡為賽即將拉開戰幕，首站義大利公開賽於當地時間2月23-25日在特雷維所舉行。與此同時，國際撞球促進協會 (IBPF) 主席David Morris宣布長期合作夥伴Dynamic Billard公司將繼續作為歐洲撞球協會(EPBF) 所有賽事的獨家球台供應商。此外，在即將開始的新賽季中，Predator 美洲豹和Biljardexperten也將成為歐洲撞球協會新的合作夥伴。
2017賽季歐洲巡回賽是賽事舉辦以來的第26個年頭，除了長期合作夥伴德國的Dynamic Billard公司以外，今年也迎來了兩個新的合作夥伴，分別是美Predator 美洲豹和瑞典的Biljardexperten公司。David Morris表示：“美洲豹是一個非常棒的品牌，很高興能與最好的公司達成合作，我也期待與他們的夥伴關系。同樣的，Biljardexperten是一家大規模的台球用品供應商，在世界範圍內遍布台球和其他娛樂產業，這是我們一直追逐的品牌，很高興能和他們成為夥伴”。
本賽季首站賽事是義大利公開賽，將於當地時間2月23-25日在特里維索舉行，揭幕戰將於周四上午9點開始，決賽則將在周六下午17:30進行，共有包括美國名將Shane van Boening在內的30多個國家的187名選手參與角逐。獎金方面，義大利公開賽總獎金36000歐元，冠軍獨得4500歐元。此外，選手還將獲得寶貴的排名積分。
緊隨其後還將進行女子組比賽，將於25日-26日進行，目前為止已經有38名歐洲頂尖的女球員報名參賽，共同角逐2900歐元的冠軍獎勵。
在賽事直播視頻方面，一如既往地將由Kozoom提供付費制的視頻直播服務。但每日將會提供一場比賽在Facebook上直播，讓所有Facebook用戶及球迷們，除能觀看比賽之外，也能藉此查看到Kozoom長期以來提供給付費會員的高畫質視頻。
