Billiard Sports (Pool – 9-Ball, Carom – 3 Cushion and Snooke ) will kick off at Sheraton Birmingham Hotel Ballroom from 13th to 17th July. There are 16 players in each of the three disciplines who have qualified for the World Games 2022. The match will start at 11:30 am local time on the 13th.
According to the official broadcast schedule, there will be live stream in the last days on Olympic Channel. (Not all streams might be available in your country. ) On July 16th, Pool’s bronze medal will be at 15:00-17:00, Men’s Pool Finals at 20:30-22:30 and Women’s Pool Finals at 00:30-2:30 local time (GMT-5). And Snooker Finals at 12:30-14:30 on the 17th.
ANDY Cloth is the Official Table Cloth for all disciplines of Billiard Sports (Pool, Carom and Snooker) of the World Games 2022, Predator Arena Billiard Light is the Official Lighting for all disciplines, and Rasson is Official Table for Pool and Snooker while MIN for Carom.
The World Games is an 11-day international multi-sport event comprising sports and sporting disciplines that are not contested in the Olympic Games. Held the year following the Summer Olympic Games, The World Games 2022 will take place in Birmingham, Alabama, USA from July 7th untol 17th, it’s originally planned for 2021, but postponed to 2022 because of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
An anticipated 3,600 elite athletes from over 100 countries will compete for gold in more than 30 of the fastest growing sports in the world.The World Games are governed by the International World Games Association, organized with the support of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
第11屆世界運動會原訂於2021年舉行，因疫情因素的影響而推遲至 2022 年。世運會已於7月7日在美國阿拉巴馬州的伯明罕拉開序幕。撞球運動項目 (美式9號球、開侖、 斯諾克) 將於 7 月 13 日至 17 日在喜來登伯明罕酒店進行。三個項目 (美式9號球、開侖、 斯諾克) 各有16名選手獲得參賽資格，比賽將於當地時間13日上午11:30開賽。
根據官方直播的播出時間安排，最後兩日在奧運頻道安排有比賽直播，(並非所有國家/地區都能觀看奧運頻道網路直播)。 7/16 當地時間下午3-5點直播 9號球銅牌戰，男子9號球決賽於晚間8:30-10:30，女子9號球決賽則為 00:30-2:30 (GMT-5)。以及17日12:30-14:30的斯諾克決賽。
除奧運頻道外，台灣則有愛爾達體育二台進行轉播。7/17 凌晨4點直播 9號球銅牌戰，上午9:30 D-Live 錄播男子9號球金牌戰，下午1:30 D-Live 錄播女子9號球金牌戰。
9號球比賽均為單敗賽制，男子9號球採搶11局、女子9號球搶9局，比賽的兩名選手任一方率先拿下5局後，進行官方休息5分鐘。柯秉中首場比賽將於 7/14 下午5:30 對上西班牙好手 Francisco Sanchez Ruiz，周婕妤則將面對哥斯大黎加選手 Adriana Villar。
ANDY 球台步為 2022 年世界運動會所有項目 (美式、開倫與斯諾克) 的官方指定球台布，Predator 美洲豹的 Arena 撞球燈同樣為所有項目的官方指定用燈，Rasson 則為美式及斯諾克項目官方比賽球桌，開倫則為韓國 MIN。
世界運動會是一項為期 11 天的國際體育賽事，通常於夏季奧運會後的第二年舉行， 2022 年世界運動會於7/07至7/17 在美國阿拉巴馬州的伯明罕舉行，其原計劃於 2021 年舉行，但因受 COVID-19 的影響而推遲至 2022 年。預計有來自 100 多個國家的 3,600 名運動員將於30 多個運動項目中競爭以爭奪金牌。世界運動會是由國際世界運動會協會 (IWGA) 管理，並在國際奧委會 (IOC) 的支持下舉辦。
