David Alcaide and Arseni Sevastyanov are set to collide in what promises to be an epic finale at the 2025 LiveSB.io Philippines Open Pool Championship — with only one destined to lift the inaugural crown.

David Alcaide 11–4 Robbie Capito
El Matador was in unstoppable form, storming past Capito to reach his second Matchroom Open final — his last being the 2023 European Open, where he claimed the title.
“It’s incredible to play in a venue like this. Truly incredible. I don’t think about the match or getting to the next stage — I just focus on enjoying the moment. That’s what happened today. I found my rhythm and just enjoyed playing in front of the crowd. I’m ready to play one more time and enjoy it all over again.”

Arseni Sevastyanov 11–10 Jayson Shaw
Sevastyanov produced a stunning comeback against Shaw, rallying with a five-rack run to reach the hill. A late miss from Shaw on the 9-ball proved costly, gifting Sevastyanov his first-ever Matchroom final.
“Jayson is a true warrior and a great player. But today is my day. I said it yesterday and I’ll say it again — I’m only here to win. Everyone can feel the pressure in the arena. But I feel I’m the only one that can handle it!”
