Nearly 200 billiard players arrived in the capital of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship last weekend to participate in the 10th International Billiards Festival. Three tournaments were held in Kielce, with a total of 265 matches played!
The matches took place at venues including the Grand Hotel Kielce, the Kielce Billiards Center on Moniuszki Square, and the PZBil ERG Bieruń International Billiards Center on Warszawska Street.
The festival kicked off on Friday, August 15th, with the EEBC Junior CUP, which attracted 62 participants, including a large crowd of local young athletes, to the billiards tables. It was the host player, Jakub Chrobot from Fortis Bilard Kielce, who stood out the most. In the final, the Fortis junior defeated Jacek Pietrzyk from Pub Duet Tomaszów Mazowiecki 5-1. Chrobot played eight matches en route to the gold medal, winning seven of them.

Jakub Chrobot continued his excellent form during the second junior tournament of the 10th International Billiard Festival Kielce 2025. He also secured a spot in the final at the EEBC HEYBALL JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP, but was defeated by Wiktor Kaczmarek from the Rokietnica Billiard Academy, who defeated the hosts 3-0.

The highlight of this festival weekend was the Dynamic Billiard Best of the East tournament, which attracted 124 participants from across Europe, including Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Belarus, Italy, and Ukraine. It’s worth noting that this was the fourth tournament in the series, with previous ones taking place in Romania, the Czech Republic, and Georgia.
The tournament’s level of athleticism was impressive, as we witnessed many exciting plays. Participants played nearly 1,000 games, during which nearly 9,000 balls could be pocketed!
Sambor Stachowiak from UKS Fair Play Jaworzno was the winner, defeating Dominik Jastrząb 7-1 in the final. Karol Skowerski from Fortis Bilard Kielce advanced furthest from the hosts, winning the bronze medal. It’s worth noting that the overall Best of the East ranking was won by Dominik Jastrząb from GKS Katowice, who accumulated the same number of points as Mariusz Skoneczny from Fortis Bilard Kielce, but won more matches.
