The battle for the leader’s spot continues. The fourth Predator Pol Tour of the year takes place this Saturday and Sunday!
Already this weekend (June 6–7), the eyes of the entire Polish billiard community will be on Gdańsk. The local Strefa Diamond billiard club will become the arena for the fourth tournament of this season’s prestigious Grand Prix of Poland Predator POL TOUR 2026 cycle. There are 165 athletes on the starting list!
The June Grand Prix of Poland Predator Pol Tour will be held as part of the Baltic Billiard Festival, which encompasses a total of three tournaments. For this reason, a truly international lineup has arrived in the Tricity this time. Naturally, Poles dominate the field, but Czechs, Georgians, Ukrainians, Germans, as well as representatives of other nationalities, are also present on the list.
After three tournaments played this year, Wojciech Szewczyk leads the general classification. However, the point differences at the top are so minimal that the upcoming competition in the Tricity could completely overturn the standings. The situation is further intensified by the fact that Wojciech Szewczyk – the current number one of the cycle and the WPA World Ranking leader – will not compete in Gdańsk.
His absence presents a major opportunity for, among others, the winner of the Łódź event, Radosław Babica, as well as Mariusz Skoneczny, who is ranked high in the national standings. Wiktor Fortuński is also well-positioned in this billiard puzzle and will certainly look to improve his standing this coming weekend.
One of the definitive favorites will undoubtedly be Daniel Macioł, the current number 3 in the WPA World Ranking. In addition to him and those already mentioned, other decorated top national players will join the fight for the podium, including Mieszko Fortuński, Hubert Łopotko, Szymon Kural, Mateusz Śniegocki, and many others.
The athletes will compete in the 10-ball discipline. The competition is divided into two stages. First, a round-robin group phase will be played (matches race to 5), from which the top players will advance to the knockout stage. The total financial prize pool amounts to 10,000 PLN, with the winner taking home 3,000 PLN and a trophy.
The event at Strefa Diamond Gdańsk is organized by Mak Marketing. The tournament is held under the patronage of the Polish Billiard Association and the East European Billiard Council.
