The Dynamic Billard Best of the East 2026 Season Kicks Off. First Stop: Oradea!

2025 Dynamic Billard Best of the East 777x437

Spring in the billiard world traditionally marks the return of one of the most prestigious series in Eastern Europe. This coming weekend, March 28-29, Oradea, Romania, will become the arena for the Dynamic Billard Best of the East 2026. This is the first of this year’s scheduled tournaments, opening the battle for points in the East European Billiard Council general ranking.

The series has an impressive history—it started in 1998 and has been promoting pool billiards in this part of the continent for almost three decades, visiting various countries across the Old Continent. This year’s edition will visit not only Romania but also Slovakia, Poland, and Georgia.

Also this season, the series will be created thanks to the cooperation with the renowned billiard brand Dynamic Billard, which is the general sponsor of the competition! The group of partners also includes Iwan Simonis S.A. – Belgium, Aramith (Saluc S.A.) – Belgium, Kamui – Japan, and Cuetec – China.

Before the balls set in motion in Romania, it is worth recalling how the competition ended last season. The podium was dominated by players who will likely strive for the highest honors in this campaign as well. In a photo finish, the best of 2025 was Dominik Jastrząb from GKS Katowice, followed closely by his compatriot, Mariusz Skoneczny from the Fortis Bilard Kielce club. The podium was completed by Kristian Mrva, representing Slovakia.

2026 Dynamic Billard Best of the East - Romania

Both Mrva and Skoneczny are checking in this weekend in Oradea for the Dynamic Billard Best of the East 2026 International Romania Championship. The competition will take place at the Black&White and Shot Arcade clubs. The first stage is a group phase, which guarantees everyone several matches without the fear of an early exit. The best from the groups will advance to the knockout stage, where the competition will continue in a “loser goes home” system.

The largest national group will, of course, be the hosts, making up nearly half of the 106 registered participants. The field also includes 27 Poles, 13 Slovaks, 10 Czechs, 8 citizens of Moldova, as well as 6 Hungarians and one Frenchman.

The prize pool is enticing—the winner will leave Oradea 1,300 euros richer, with a trophy and a professional Cuetec cue. In total, financial prizes are provided for the top sixteen players of the tournament. Most importantly, the matches will be broadcast LIVE for free on the TVsports.pl channel! We encourage you to share this information and follow the performances of many sensational billiard players.

The series is organized by the East European Billiard Council and Mak Marketing, as well as the Romania Billiard Federation – Asociatia Cluburilor de Biliard.
