The 2025 Predator Pro Billiard Series (PBS) kicked off the season in spectacular fashion, delivering an unforgettable showcase of world-class billiards at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino from February 19 to March 1. With eight premier events, over $400,000 in total prize money, and an international roster of elite players, this event solidified its place as one of the most significant gatherings in the sport.

A Celebration of the Sport

The event encompassed the full spectrum of competitive pool, featuring men’s and women’s open divisions, junior and parasport competitions, and doubles play, along with the introduction of new formats in Bank Pool and One Pocket that brought fresh excitement to the series.

From the Kamui Las Vegas Open, where the world’s top professionals battled for dominance, to the Kamui Mixed Doubles Open, which continues to be a fan-favorite format, every tournament delivered high-stakes action. The Bank Pool Showdown’s expanded field saw an intense battle among the best bank players, while the One Pocket Face-Off produced thrilling, strategic play from some legends of the game like Francisco Bustamante, Shane Van Boening, Joshua Filler and Tony Chohan.

In a special highlight, the Parasport Exhibition, featuring Charlie Hans vs. Henrik Larsson, brought well-deserved recognition to adaptive athletes, showcasing their extraordinary talent and competitive spirit.

“The Predator Pro Billiard Series in Las Vegas was an incredible success. Bringing together so many disciplines under one roof highlighted the depth and excitement of our sport for fans worldwide. This year’s event shattered records for audience engagement, reaching over 10 million people worldwide across YouTube livestreams, Facebook, Instagram, and Billiard TV. With two dedicated TV tables broadcasting in high definition, fans experienced the action like never before, further elevating the sport’s presence on the international stage.

Just before the Vegas event, Pro Billiard TV, the official YouTube channel of PBS, hit a major milestone of 100,000 subscribers, solidifying its position as the go-to platform for billiards fans. With more than 650 videos uploaded, the channel has become the premier destination to watch the best pool action, featuring live-streamed matches, exclusive highlights, and best shots.

The quality of play was matched by the quality of the equipment. Players praised the tournament setup, particularly the Predator Apex Pro tables and Predator Arcadia Performance Cloth, which allowed them to perform at their best. The combination of precision-engineered tables, premium cloth, and cutting-edge equipment created the perfect conditions for elite competition.
