The 2nd Polish Heyball Championships and five HEYBALL POLSKA tournaments are behind us
The fifth tournament of this year’s HEYBALL POLSKA ranking of the Polish Billiard Association took place in Kielce – the Polish Men’s Championships.
Karol Skowerski became the Polish champion, defeating Dominik Jastrząb 7-4 in the final. Michał Turkowski and Hubert Łopotko won bronze medals.
The victory also qualified Skowerski for the Heyball Champion of Champions competition, which will take place in Australia in September. Karol will fly to the competition together with Katarzyna Wesołowska.
After this tournament, Skowerski strengthened his position as the leader of the HEYBALL POLSKA RANKING , ahead of Hubert Łopotko.
This year, two more tournaments for men will be held, while in September, the 1st Polish Junior Championships in Heyball will take place. All competitions are broadcast live on TVSPORTSPL.
Later this year, the Polish Billiard Association plans to organise Heyball training camps and participate in several tournaments around the world that count towards the WPA Heyball Open rankings in: Europe, Australia, North and South America, and Africa.
As part of the promotion of HEYBALL in Poland, training and promotional materials will also be published.
Let us remind you that this year, the Polish HEYBALL Training Centre was opened in Łódź, and tables for this type of billiards are becoming increasingly common in clubs throughout the country.
