The International Billiard Promotion Foundation (IBPF) can announce that starting in 2026, all EuroTour events for both men and women will officially award ranking points on the World Pool Association (WPA) World Rankings.
Players intending to compete on the EuroTour are strongly encouraged to obtain a WPA Athletes Licence, as only licensed players will be eligible to receive ranking points that count toward the world rankings. The licence offers additional advantages for players and is available for a one-time fee of USD$20, providing lifetime membership.
IBPF President David Morris welcomed the announcement: “I’m delighted that the EuroTour will now award official WPA world ranking points. The EuroTour has been a major force on the international stage since 1992, and this recognition from the world governing body reflects the strength and prestige the tour has built over many years. With Predator’s involvement, we have finally been able to bring this important development to fruition.”
WPA Sports Director Jorgen Sandman said: “To award WPA ranking points to the athletes participating in the EuroTour events is a measure long overdue and certainly contributes towards to a well-deserved recognition of this long-standing series of events. It will add hundreds of athletes to our prestigious ranking and will help the WPA to provide a compelling meritocratic order for our international events.”
The first event to award the coveted world ranking points will be the Predator Turkish Open, beginning on 12 March 2026. From this event onward, players holding a valid WPA Athletes Licence will earn official world ranking points based on their performance. 國際撞球推廣協會 (IBPF) 宣布，自2026年起所有歐洲巡迴賽 (EuroTour) 的男、女賽事都將正式授予世界花式撞球協會 (WPA) 的世界排名積分。
我們強烈建議有意參加歐巡賽的選手申請WPA運動員執照，因僅持有執照的選手才有資格獲得計入世界排名的積分。該執照為選手提供諸多優勢，只需一次性支付20美元即可終身有效。
IBPF主席 David Morris 對這一消息表示歡迎並說道：“我很高興歐巡賽現在將正式授予WPA世界排名積分。自1992年以來，歐巡賽一直是國際撞球舞台上的重要力量，此次獲得世界管理機構的認可，體現了歐巡賽多年來積累的實力和聲望。在美洲豹 (Predator) 的參與下，我們終於實現了這一重要進展。”
