※ Competition Format
(1.) The competition adopts “JOY Cup Chinese Eight Ball Standard Rules (Time-Limited) of 2016 version”. The Committee may make reasonable adjustments according to practical situation.
(2.) Tournament Systems and Promotion Methods (*Time limits and tournament system could be adjusted by the number of registered players, which all participants should agree to follow.)
◎ Non-seeded players should be limited in 352, seeded players should be limited in 32,total registered person should be limited in 384.
Stage 1:
The First Stage:352-176,double elimination, all in 44 groups,8 players in one group, 2 players qualified from the winner-part, 2 players qualified from the loser-part,176 players will be qualified to the second stage.
Stage 2:
The qualified 176 players from the first stage and 16 seeded players from the 17th to the32nd, 192 players in total will enter this stage. The 17th to the32nd seeded players should be located according to S-shaped ranking , 176 players who is qualified from the first stage draw in public and enter the third stage.
Stage 3:
The first 16 seeded players and 48 players who are qualified from the second stage can enter this stage. The 1st-16th seeded players should be located according to S-shaped ranking, 48 players who is qualified from the second stage draw in public and enter the location. The match of 64-32 is adopted with double elimination, the players will be divided into 8 teams, 8 players per team. 2 players qualified from the winner-part, 2 players qualified from the loser-part, 32 players will be qualified to the second stage.
Stage 4:
The qualified 32 players from the third stage adopt single elimination, until the champion come out.
(3.) The Awards of “Total Table Clears by Breaking”
The player who has the most times of clearing the table by breaking will get the award of “Total Table Clears by Breaking” and the award bonus of RMB 2,000. In the case of several players equal in the total times, the award bonus should be split to all of them.
※ The Seeded Players and Their Performance Fee
① Under the condition of practical player name list, according to order from high to low of the points, the 1st -the 32nd players are the seeded layer of qualified station, the 1st -the 32nd players have 2500RMB appearance fee.
② If player changes contact information, he/ she should inform committee in advance; if the committee cannot contact the player, then he/she will be disqualified and he/she will be responsible for this.
③ If the players who promised to participate in the match and in the name list of 32 seeded players can not present, the player must contact committee 3 days before the event, and explain the situation, if not, the player will be remove 1/2 of the present point, if there are any player offending the rule for the second time, his points will be eliminated.
④ If the seeded player miss the match with out advance notification, the seeded players after him/her should be bring forward in proper order. The vacancy filling player comes from the players who has qualified points of this station.

※ 比賽辦法
(1.) 用《2016版“喬氏杯”中式八球限時賽標準規則》，賽事組委會有權根據實際情況進行適當調整。
(2.) 賽制及晉級規定
非種子選手限報352人，種子選手32人，合計總報名人數不超384人
第一階段: 352進176採用雙敗淘汰賽，分為44個組，每組8人比賽，勝部出線2人，敗部出線2人，合計176人出線進入第二階段。
第二階段: 第一階段晉級的176名選手和排名17-32的16名種子選手共計192名選手參賽，17-32名的種子選手按照蛇形排位進入指定位置，第一階段晉級的176名選手公開抽籤進入指定位置，192進96的比賽採用單敗淘汰，96進48的比賽採用單敗淘汰，共計出線48名選手進入第三階段。
第三階段: 前16名種子選手和第二階段晉級的48名選手共計64名選手參賽，1-16名種子選手按照蛇形排位進入指定位置，第二階段出線的48名選手公開抽籤進入指定位置，64進32的比賽採用雙敗淘汰，分為8個組，每組8人比賽。勝部出線2人，敗部出線2人，共計出線32名選手進入第四階段。
第四階段: 第三階段晉級的32名選手採用單敗淘汰，直至冠軍。
※ 種子選手及出場
①在實際出場選手名單確定情況下，按照選手排名有效積分從高到低的順序，1-32名選手為單站比賽的“種子選手”，1-32名種子選手獲得2500元出場費。
②選手更換聯繫方式，有義務提前告知組委會；因聯絡方式不通而無法聯繫的選手失去種子選手資格，責任選手自負。
③承諾參加比賽並進入32名種子選手名單的選手，如臨時無法參賽，須在本人比賽3天前主動聯繫組委會說明真實情況；未在3天前聯絡組委會，無告知單方面棄賽的選手將被刪除現有積分的1/2，兩次出現此類情況者，清空所有積分。
④若種子選手臨時缺賽，後面種子選手依次向前順延；因此產生的空位填充名額，在本站比賽已報名參賽的選手中按積分選擇符合資格的選手進入。
