2nd Round of the Bilardowa Ekstraklasa at Galeria Łódzka! Hosts to fight for the podium

This coming weekend (April 24-26), the nation’s most important team billiard competition will take place at Galeria Łódzka. It is there, on a specially prepared stage, that a TV table will be set up to host 12 matches at the highest level. The world’s best billiard players will be in action.

We begin on Friday, April 24. Several very interesting matchups will take place that day. The defending champions, GKS Katowice – featuring team world runners-up Wojciech Szewczyk and Daniel Macioł—will face Bank Spółdzielczy Piotrowski Żuraw Białystok, led by European Cup bronze medalist Hubert Łopotko.

Nine-time Polish champions Fortis Kielce, with European champions Karol Skowerski and Sebastian Batkowski, will play against the 2021 Polish champions – Akademia Bilardowa Rokietnica, led by multi-time Polish and European champion Radosław Babica, who has been in excellent form lately. The hosts, team Strefa Łódź, featuring European champions Mateusz Śniegockieg and Tomasz Kapłan, face a difficult match against Arkadia Tczew.

On the second day, the most promising matchup appears to be between the team from Białystok and TCF HUB Retro Kraków, which includes World Cup silver medalist Szymon Kural. On Sunday, the most anticipated match is once again the one involving the Kraków team, but this time against the tournament hosts – Strefa Łódź.
