2016 Yushan 2nd China Billiard World Championship – 第二屆中式台球世錦賽

The 2016 China Billiard World Championship will take place in Yushan of Jiangxi province, China, as The Second CBWC gets underway with qualifiers Match 13-15, and the main event March 17-20.

The registration has ended. There are players from Austria, Belgium, Poland, UK, USA, Russia, Korea, Japan, Chinese Taipei, Serbian, Canada, Germany, Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia etc., over 350 players from 29 countries in the event. After the qualifying, 64 of the best male players and 32 of the best female players are expected to gather at Yushan’s The First High School Stadium to fight for the ¥3,008,000 RMB prize fund.

With over one hundred more players including about 50 more international players compared to last year, the 2nd China Billiard World Championship reveals its growing influence and attraction. Meanwhile, the county Yushan makes great effort to ensure the success of this international event.

Over 300 volunteers are expected to show up around the stadium, which means each player could find a volunteer if he or she need help. From pick-up to guide and translation, these warm-hearted volunteers are ready to serve and accept a busy and challenging schedule starting before day one.

Yushan is a county in the northeast of Jiangxi province, China. It has been a county for over 1,300 years. The county is Jiangxi’s gateway to bordering Zhejiang province and administratively the county is part of the prefecture-level city Shangrao. Yushan boasts affluent mining resources, like flagstones and limestones, which are an integral part of pool tables.

2016年“上菱電梯”杯中式台球世錦賽報名工作已截止，比賽將於3月13日正式開賽。屆時來自奧地利、比利時、波蘭、英國、美國、俄羅斯、韓國、日本、中華台北、塞爾維亞、加拿大、德國、菲律賓、新加坡、印尼等29個國家地區的員參賽，共計有超過350位選手齊聚玉山。

比首屆中式台球世錦賽，增加了近百人，單就國際選手就增加了50多人。參賽人數的增多，對國際選手的吸引增強代表了中式台球世錦賽整體影響力的提升，這對於賽事舉辦城市—江西玉山也提出了更高的要求。為此，玉山縣全員出動，力保賽事順利進行。

接站、引導、翻譯還要面對各種各樣的突發情況，中式台球世錦賽誌願者們每天的日程都是忙碌且充滿挑戰性的。從賽事籌備階段開始，誌願者服務就是主辦方極為重視的一環。

據悉這屆中式台球世錦賽的志工數量將超過300人，幾乎每個球員只要有需要就能找到志工。這點對於眾國際球員來說這點更為重要。

玉山縣位於江西省東北部，是上饒市下轄的一個縣，該縣已有1300多年歷史。玉山擁有豐富的礦山資源，盛出產石板和石灰岩。其中玉山出產的石板更是球桌使用的主要來源。

Itinerary 
Please email your itinerary to the contact person or the organizing committee after you book the tickets. We (the organizing committee) strongly recommend all international players to arrive & transfer in Shanghai. The organizing committee would be responsible for the round-trip high-speed train tickets from shanghai to the venue.
International players must arrive before 24:00 on March 11th 2016. Players who failed to registration is not allow play the event.

通報到達中國上海航班信息：國際參賽選手報名後，請於2016年2月20日前將到達中國上海航班信息 (航班號、到達日期及時間) 通報給上述報名指定聯系人或發電子郵件至報名指定郵箱：[email protected]。自行前往比賽城市和不在上海中轉的國際參賽選手請專門說明。
所有參加會外賽國際選手需在2016年3月11日24:00前到達比賽城市並完成參賽登記，逾期不予受理。

Format
Qualifying:
(1) There are 4 groups: International Men, International Women, China Men, China Women.
(2) Single elimination. Men division Race to 7, Women division Race to 5. Alternate break.
(3) Rules for qualifying round: Two qualifying tournaments in each group. No seeded player.
(4) Total of 16 spots for international men qualifiers (1st Day for 8 & 2nd Day for 8), while total of 8 for international women qualifiers. 1st Day for 4 & 2nd Day for 4)
For Mainland China Men qualifiers, there are total of 15 spots(1st Day for 8 & 2nd Day for 7), while total of 8 for Mainland China Women qualifiers (1st Day for 4 & 2nd Day for 4)

The Main stage contents two stages:
(1) Stage 1
※ Four groups: International Men, China Men、International Women & China Women.
※ Double elimination, each group will have 8 players, Alternate Break. Men division Race 9, Women division Race 7.
※ The 16 players of both winners and losers bracket from both Men groups of international and China will get into the stage 2. The 8 players of both winners and losers bracket from both women’s groups of international and China will get into the stage 2.

(2) Stage 2
Men Division: Totally 32 players, mixed between the 16 players from international Men Group and 16 players from Chinese Men Group.
1/16、1/8 and Quarter-finals – Race to 13
Semi-finals and Bronze – Race to 15.
Final will be Race to 21.

Women Division: Totally 16 players, 8 players from International Women Group and 8 players from China Women Group.
1/8 and Quarter-finals – Race to 11.
Semi-finals & Bronze – Race to 13.
Final will be Race to 17.

賽制 
會外賽:
(1) 分為4組：國際男子組、國際女子組、中國男子組、中國女子組。
(2) 單敗淘汰賽，輪流開球，男子組13局7勝，女子組9局5勝。
(3) 會外賽不設種子選手，每個組別的比賽共進行兩場。
(4) 會外賽共錄取16名國際男子組選手和8名國際女子選手晉級正賽。
每組每場晉級正賽的名額為：國際男子組：8名、8名；國際女子組：4名、4名；國內男子組：8名、7名；國內女子組：4名、4名；組委會有權根據報名人數最終決定晉級正賽名額。

會內賽，分兩個階段進行比賽:
(1) 第一階段- 比賽分為4組：國際男子組32名、中國男子組32名、國際女子組16名及中國女子組16名。
比賽採分組双敗淘汰，8人一組，輪流開球。男子17局9勝，女子13局7勝。國際男子組和中國男子組分別錄取各組16名(勝部8名、敗部8名)；國際女子組和中國女子組分別錄取各組8名(勝部4名、敗部4名) 進入第二階段的比賽。

(2) 第二階段： 單敗淘汰制，輪流開球
※ 國際男子組晉級的16位選手與中國男子組的16位選手，共32名選手混合一組進行比賽。
※ 男子組1/16、1/8、1/4 搶13局，1/2決賽和三、四名決賽搶15局，冠軍戰搶21局。
※ 國際女子組晉級的8位選手與中國女子組的8位選手，共16名選手混合一組進行比賽。
※ 女子組1/8、1/4 搶11局，1/2決賽和三、四名決賽搶13局，冠軍戰搶17局。

Entry fee:
(1.) For qualifying players is 100 USD or 600 RMB.
(2.) Main tournament fee for players promote from qualifying round is 300 USD/1800 RMB.
(3.) Main tournament fee for players directly entering main tournament is 400 USD/2300 RMB.

參賽費:
(1.)  會外賽參賽費為100美金或600人民幣。
(2.) 由會外賽取得資格者，再繳交300美金或1800人民幣。
(3.) 正賽參賽費為400美金或2400人民幣。
