The 10-ball titles have been awarded today at the Dynamic Billard European Youth Championships in Veldhoven, The Netherlands. In the Girls division, Valeriia Trushevskaia (RUS) took the title. In the U17 division, Szymon Kural (POL) won the Gold medal. And in the U19, Sanjin Pehlivanovic (BIH) was the winner.

The final match in the U19 was played between Sanjin Pehlivanovic and Jonas Souto (ESP). Pehlivanovic did not have a good start into the event. He lost his opening match 6:7 to Dmitrii Shkudov (RUS). So he had to take the longest possible rout over the loser’s side. He won match after match and finally booked his seat in the final match of the 10-ball competition. Jonas Souto had already won a silver medal in straight pool this week. Unlike Pehlivanovic, Souto took the direct route into the final match with mainly pretty clear results. The writing was on the wall that the final match would be a close affair. But it turned out to become a one-sided match in favour of Pehlivanovic. The Bosnian got his rhythm and the roll of the balls and wasted no time, defeating Souto clearly with 7:3.

In the U17 division, Szymon Kural met his teammate Dominik Jastrzab (POL) in the final match. The final turned into a nightmare for Jastrzab. He cold not even get one foot on the floor and Kural was on his a-game. After 6 racks, the match was already over with a 6:0 victory for Kural.

In the girls division, Valeriia Trushevskaia also met a teammate. She played Aleksandra Guleikova (RUS) for the glory. Just like the other two finals tonight, the final match in the girls division was dominated by one player only. Trushevskaia proved to be too strong for Guleikova and handed her a clear 5:1 result in the final match.
