2018 Chinese Pool World Championship is arranged in March

The 4th Chinese Pool World Championship will take place in Yushan/China. The Qualifying tournament for Chinese Men & Women will be from March 19th-21th, while for while International Men & Women on Match 22th-24th, and March 26th-30th will be the Main event.

2018 中式台球世錦賽比賽時間將於3月19-30日再次於中國玉山縣舉行。中國男、女子組會外賽於3月19-21號舉行。國際男、女子組將在22-24號開打。

Date & Venue

(1) Qualifying
Chinese Players: March 19th – 21h, 2018
International players: March 22th – 24th, 2018

(2) Main Tournament
Date: March 26th – 30th, 2018

Opening Ceremony: March 25th

Venue: The First High School Stadium

Qualifications Tournament

Qualifying:
(1) Open to all of Chinese and International men and women players. (Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan included)
(2) China Men Group: The Top 9 to 128 Chinese Men players according to the 2017 CBSA China Billiard Men Ranking.
(3) China Women Group: The Top 5 to 64 Chinese Women players according to the 2017 CBSA China Billiard Women ranking.

Registration Deadline: February 9th, 2018. (Before 12:00pm Beijing Time)

Main Tournament:
Men Division (64 players):
(1) 18 spots for International qualifiers.
(2) 17 spots for Mainland China Men qualifiers.
(3) Top 8 players according to the 2017 CBSA Chinese Pool Men ranking.
(4) 8 spots (wildcard) for Snooker Players
(5) Top 6 players according to the 2017 CBSA American Pool Men ranking.
(6) 2 spots (wildcard) for pool players invited by the Organizing Committee.
(7) 4 players selected from Chinese National Team.
(8) Champion of the Chinese Pool World Championship in 2017.

Women Division (32 players):
(1) 8 spots for the international qualifiers.
(2) 7 spots for Mainland China Women qualifiers.
(3) Top 4 players according to the 2017 CBSA Chinese Pool Women ranking.
(4) Top 6 players according to the 2017 CBSA American Pool Men ranking.
(5) 2 spots (wildcard) for pool players invited by the Organizing Committee.
(6) 4 players selected from Chinese Women National Team.
(7) Champion of the Chinese Pool World Championship in 2017.

Transportation

On March 19th, the organizing committee will set up a reception team in Hongqiao Railway Station to help the International players, the coaches and their families to buy the High-Speed Rail tickets. Both International and Chinese players will be responsible for the cost of the transportation.

Shanghai Hongqiao Airport (SHA) – Next/close to the Hongqiao Railway Station.
Pudong Airport (PVG)

※ Players who arrive at the Pudong Airport can choose to take by bus, cab or metro to Hongqiao Railway Station, the reception team will be at the Station to assist for the tickets.

High-Speed Rail

There are 8 high speed trains a day, the train takes around 2 hours and 30 min to 2 hours and 50 min.

International players (Stage 1) arrive before 12:00 on March 21th 2018. Players who failed to registration is not allow play the event, while International players (Stage 2) arrive before March 24th 2018.

Format
Qualifying:
(1) There are 4 groups: International Men, International Women, Chinese Men, Chinese Women.
(2) Single elimination. Men division Race to 7, Women division Race to 5. Alternate break.
(3) Rules for qualifying round: Two qualifying tournaments in each group. No seeded player.
(4) Total of 18 spots for international men qualifiers (9 & 9), while total of 8 for international women qualifiers. 8 & 4)
For Mainland Chinese Men qualifiers, there are total of 15 spots, while total of 7 for Mainland Chinese Women qualifiers.

The Main stage contents two stages:
(1) Stage 1
※ Four groups: International Men, Chinese Men、International Women & Chinese Women.
※ Double elimination, each group will have 8 players, Alternate Break. Men division Race 9, Women division Race 7.
※ The 16 players of both winners and losers bracket from both Men groups of international and Chinese will get into the stage 2. The 8 players of both winners and losers bracket from both women’s groups of international and Chinese will get into the stage 2.

(2) Stage 2
Men Division: Totally 32 players, mixed between the 16 players from international Men Group and 16 players from Chinese Men Group.
1/16、1/8 – Race to 11
Quarter-finals, Semi-finals and Bronze – Race to 13
Final will be Race to 21.

Women Division: Totally 16 players, 8 players from International Women Group and 8 players from Chinese Women Group.
1/8 – Race to 9
Quarter-finals, Semi-finals & Bronze – Race to 11
Final will be Race to 17.

Alternate break

Entry fee:
(1.) For qualifying players is 100 USD or 600 RMB.
(2.) Main tournament fee for players promote from qualifying round is 300 USD/1800 RMB.
(3.) Main tournament fee for players directly entering main tournament is 400 USD/2300 RMB.

賽制 
會外賽:
(1) 分為4組：國際男子組、國際女子組、中國男子組、中國女子組。
(2) 單敗淘汰賽，輪流開球，男子組13局7勝，女子組9局5勝。
(3) 會外賽不設種子選手，每個組別的比賽共進行兩場。
(4) 會外賽共錄取15名國際男子組選手和7名國際女子選手晉級正賽。
每組每場晉級正賽的名額為：國際男子組：7名、8名；國際女子組：3名、4名；國內男子組：7名、8名；國內女子組：3名、4名；組委會有權根據報名人數最終決定晉級正賽名額。

會內賽，分兩個階段進行比賽:
(1) 第一階段- 比賽分為4組：國際男子組32名、中國男子組32名、國際女子組16名及中國女子組16名。
比賽採分組双敗淘汰，8人一組，輪流開球。男子17局9勝，女子13局7勝。國際男子組和中國男子組分別錄取各組16名(勝部8名、敗部8名)；國際女子組和中國女子組分別錄取各組8名(勝部4名、敗部4名) 進入第二階段的比賽。

(2) 第二階段： 單敗淘汰制，輪流開球
※ 國際男子組晉級的16位選手與中國男子組的16位選手，共32名選手混合一組進行比賽。
※ 男子組1/16、1/8搶11局，1/4 & 1/2決賽和三、四名決賽搶13局，冠軍戰搶21局。
※ 國際女子組晉級的8位選手與中國女子組的8位選手，共16名選手混合一組進行比賽。
※ 女子組1/8搶9局，1/4 & 1/2決賽和三、四名決賽搶11局，冠軍戰搶17局。

參賽費:
(1.) 會外賽參賽費為100美金或600人民幣。
(2.) 由會外賽取得資格者，再繳交300美金或1800人民幣。
(3.) 正賽參賽費為400美金或2400人民幣。
